1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Lumo ("the Platform"), operated by Mail2Gambia Limited, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform.

2. Description of Service

Lumo is a free online classifieds marketplace that allows registered users to post, browse, and respond to advertisements for goods and services in The Gambia. We act solely as a platform connecting buyers and sellers — we are not a party to any transaction between users.

3. User Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password
• You must provide accurate and truthful information when registering
• You may not create multiple accounts or impersonate others
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

4. Posting Listings

When posting a listing, you agree that:

• All information is accurate, honest, and not misleading
• You own or have the right to sell the item being listed
• The listing does not violate any laws or third-party rights
• Photos used are your own or you have permission to use them

5. Prohibited Content

The following are strictly prohibited on Lumo:

• Illegal items including drugs, weapons, or stolen goods
• Counterfeit or fake products
• Adult or sexually explicit content
• Fraudulent or scam listings
• Hate speech or discriminatory content
• Animals sold for illegal purposes
• Any content that violates Gambian law

Violations may result in immediate account suspension and may be reported to authorities.

6. Transactions & Safety

Lumo does not process payments or guarantee any transaction. All transactions are made directly between buyers and sellers. We strongly recommend:

• Meeting in person in a public, well-lit place
• Inspecting items thoroughly before payment
• Never sending money in advance to strangers
• Trusting your instincts — if something feels wrong, walk away

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this platform, including logos, design, and code, is the property of Mail2Gambia Limited. Users retain ownership of content they post but grant Lumo a non-exclusive license to display that content on the platform.

8. Limitation of Liability

Lumo and Mail2Gambia Limited are not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or transactions made through it. We do not verify the identity of users or the accuracy of listings.

9. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of The Gambia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of The Gambia.
